Introduction
Municipal councils participating in the FCM ICLEI Partners for Climate Protection (PCP) program can opt to withdraw at any time, allowing them to re-evaluate their strategies and prioritize local initiatives. Withdrawing is a straightforward process and can be completed in three easy steps, ensuring your community's needs come first.
Many councils are unaware of their participation in the program. You can check if your municipality is one of the 500+ involved here: PCP Membership Page.

Withdraw from the PCP Program in three easy steps
Download and Print the Withdrawal Resolution:
Download and print this withdrawal resolution and have your council adopt and sign it. It clarifies the council’s decision to withdraw from the FCM ICLEI PCP program, ending further obligations and responsibilities under the program. This template can be modified as needed.
Move, second, debate and adopt this motion.
Communicate the Withdrawal to the PCP Program:
Once the resolution has been adopted, communicate the council’s decision to the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM). This formal notification is necessary to finalize the withdrawal from the program.

Novel approach: Proof of harm caused by alleged green alternatives ‘before production and after' can be leveraged to enlighten all levels of government and unelected bureaucrats who remain unaware.
