Hi there, I’m Australian, I have subscribed to your newsletter to see how you guys are challenging your councils on many levels.
You have really good ideas, I am hoping I may be able to use some of them. I’m feeling like a lone voice in the wilderness in Australia, I live rurally, and our council’s area is really spread out. There are probably many people in my area who feel the same as me-it’s hopefully only a problem of not connecting with each other.
Maggie Braun is a really strong, dedicated person. I admire her very much.
As to the subject of “climate change”, I have been extolling Clintel’s virtues for about 3 1/2 years now! They are great.
Anyway, just thought I’d let you know there’s an Aussie following what you guys do-obviously not everything-and hopefully more Aussies are aware of what Canada is doing-say hello to me, any Aussies gaining insight from Canada’s KICLEI initiative.
And go well you there in Canada, don’t let the so and so’s win! You have great ideas and people on your side.
